Terms & Conditions

  1. ArchiCheck is an online platform that facilitates the provision of architectural services.  It does not employ the architect(s) that provide the architectural services, nor does it play any role in the provision of architectural service by the architect(s).

  2. The ArchiCheck report is not, and is not a substitute for, a building inspection. Whilst ArchiCheck and/or the architect(s) providing the architectural services may attend the property to meet with you, view the property and its surrounds, ArchiCheck and/or the architect(s) providing the architectural services do not conduct any physical inspection of the property that is, or would amount to, a building inspection and/or any inspection as to the condition or suitability of the property.  The attendance at the property by the architect(s) and/or ArchiCheck is solely to assess potential design and renovation options, subject to planning permission.  ArchiCheck and/or the architect(s) make no representations, statements or otherwise as to the condition or suitability of the property that is the subject of the report.  The information provided in the report does not replace any other form of pre-purchase property inspection, and it should not be relied upon by you in respect of your decision to purchase the property.

  3. The ArchiCheck report is an initial opinion in relation to potential design and renovation options, subject to planning permission.  If you ultimately purchase the property, a further and more detailed architectural opinion / design will need to be prepared, and provided to you, at additional cost.  A fee estimate will be provided for any further work.

  4. The information provided in the report is the professional opinion of the registered architect undertaking the work, and preparing the report. In no way do the contents of the report, or the opinion of the registered architect, reflect the opinion of ArchiCheck. ArchiCheck takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the report and/or the architectural opinion contained therein.

  5. The content of the report, and its accuracy, is based upon the information provided to the registered architect at the time of preparing the report. The architect will not undertake his/her own enquiries or investigations.

  6. The content of the report, and the information provided, is subject to further investigation, regulatory compliance and council approval.
